Vice President Kamala Harris hosting rally, concert in Madison as Election Day inches closer

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – Vice President Kamala Harris is back in Wisconsin as Election Day approaches quickly on Nov. 5.
The Democratic nominee for president is campaigning in Madison for a rally and concert to try and push people to ‘Get Out the Vote’ through the remainder of early voting and leading up to the general election on Tuesday.

The concert and rally are part of a series of events called ‘When We Vote We Win’ which has featured multiple different recording artists whose goal is to mobilize voters in key battleground states to show up and vote for Harris, her running mate Governor Tim Walz and other Democrats in each respective state.
The expected musical performances are from the following:
- Gracie Abrams
- Mumford & Sons
- Remi Wolf
- The National’s Matt Berninger and Aaron Dessner
‘Stop doom scrolling’: Uptick in Wisconsin patients from election-induced stress and anxiety
The event will take place at the Alliant Energy Center, just south of downtown.
The event comes on the same day as former President and Republican challenger Donald Trump’s rally at the Resch Expo Center in Green Bay with former Packers quarterback Brett Favre, who is set to be a guest speaker.
