Wisconsin driver cited for OWI after crashing into house, stashing prescription drugs

MADISON, Wis. (WFRV) – A driver who crashed into a southern Wisconsin home around 8 a.m. on a Friday was arrested and cited for OWI after trying to hide prescription drugs near the scene of the crash.

A release from the Madison Police Department states that on November 8 around 8:10 a.m., officers were called to the 600 block of East Johnson Street.

Officers say that is where a driver, later identified as 25-year-old Tobias Wilson, reportedly hit two parked cars before crashing into a house. Wilson also allegedly stashed prescription drugs near the crash scene.

The Madison resident was arrested for possessing and illegally obtaining prescription drugs and cited for OWI.

No injuries were reported.
