WAUSAU, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in central Wisconsin are seeking the suspect allegedly involved in an armed robbery of a gas station on Wednesday night.
According to the Wausau Police Department, officers responded to the Mobil Fast Fuel Mart on East Wausau Avenue around 9:15 p.m. on January 29 after reports that a man flashed a gun and left the store with an undisclosed amount of cash.

It is reported that before officers arrived, the suspect had asked about cigars and was about to purchase cigarettes when he allegedly showed the employee a gun concealed in his waistband and demanded money from the register.
It was noted that no one else was in the store at the time of the robbery.

Officers say the suspect was last seen running north on 8th Street toward Augusta Avenue. A search of the area was unsuccessful.
The suspect was wearing a black Nike hooded sweatshirt, black joggers, black foam runner slip-on sandals, and a multi-colored facemask covering his face during the incident.
