TWO RIVERS, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Two Rivers provided a statement on the one-year anniversary of Elijah Vue going missing.
The Two Rivers Police Department posted on its Facebook page on the one-year anniversary of the report of 3-year-old Elijah Vue being missing. Police said the report triggered a large-scale response that involved local, state and federal agencies.
Officials said that finding Elijah was their top priority and enacted multiple alerts. The community and surrounding area were asked to help find him.
Hundreds of people reportedly joined in the search efforts.

The release said for seven months, police received a ‘tremendous’ amount of support from the community, private organizations, businesses and government agencies.
The investigative team reportedly consisted of members from the following:
- Two Rivers Police Department
- Wisconsin Department of Justice – Division of Criminal Investigation (assisted by the FBI)
The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office continues its efforts and are working with the Manitowoc County District Attorney’s Office as the case moves forward.
Authorities reminded residents that one of the ways to get timely notifications in investigations is to sign up for emergency notifications through the Wisconsin Crime Alert Network.
