RUBICON, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin say one man was arrested and is facing serious life-threatening injuries following a crash Tuesday evening between a semi-truck and another vehicle.
According to a release from the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded around 5:00 p.m. to reports of a crash on County Road N and Goodland Road in the town of Rubicon.
Officials say a 2021 Infinity was heading north on Goodland Road and failed to stop at the stop sign at County Road N causing it to be hit by a 2024 Western Star semi-truck.

As a result of the crash, the Infinity was pushed into the north ditch where both vehicles involved came to a rest.
The driver of the Infinity, a 23-year-old Milwaukee man, was extricated from the vehicle, arrested for his first operating while intoxicated offense, and taken by Flight For Life to the hospital where he is facing serious life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the semi-truck, a 35-year-old man from Wheeling, Illinois, was not hurt in the crash and was later released from the scene.
At this time, no other information is available and an investigation of the incident remains ongoing.
