35 years later: The mysterious disappearance of Kerry O’Brien-Krueger in Wisconsin

BURLINGTON, Wis. (WFRV) – Friday, Dec. 6, marks the 35th anniversary of Kerry A. O’Brien-Krueger’s disappearance in Wisconsin.

On Dec. 7, 1989, O’Brien-Krueger was reported missing by her husband, Tracey Krueger, and her parents. Tracey told police that on the evening of Dec. 5, 1989, Kerry received a phone call from work asking her to attend a trade show the next day for a coworker who was unable to go.

According to Tracey, the trade show was out of state, and Kerry agreed to attend. He said she left their home in Burlington around 4 a.m. on Dec. 6, 1989, for a flight out of Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.

However, Kerry’s supervisor later reported that no trade shows were scheduled, and no employees, including Kerry, were assigned to attend one.
