The latest northeast Wisconsin weather forecast from Storm Team 5…
It’s going to look and feel like the middle of winter this week following our biggest snowfall of the season this weekend. Temperatures will be well below our average high of 27 degrees this work/school week.
More fluffy snow is expected at times this week. Tonight, some flurries or light snow showers could bring a minor accumulation in southern counties of a dusting to a few tenths of an inch. Wednesday will bring a chance for 1 to 4″ of fluffy accumulations, higher totals south. Another chance for accumulating snow showers will come in Friday night into some of Saturday.
Plenty of sunshine Monday with a high of 21 degrees. West winds from 5 to 15 miles per hour.
Tonight brings mostly cloudy skies with a chance for flurries or light snow showers. A few tenths of an inch is possible in the southern Fox Cities to Fond du Lac County. Minor, if any, accumulations elsewhere. The low is 3 degrees, so it will be cold! Wind chills could drop to -10 to -20 overnight.
Mostly sunny on Tuesday with a cold high of 13 degrees.
Snow showers on Wednesday with a high of 20 degrees. We are expecting accumulations to bring slippery conditions.
Cold and mostly sunny again Thursday. The high is 16 degrees.
Partly sunny on Friday with more snow showers arriving in the evening or overnight. The high is 23 degrees.
Scattered snow showers possible for a time on Saturday, favoring the morning. The high warms to around average near 27 degrees.
Cold and breezy Sunday with a high of 15 degrees.
