GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – This entire week has been a celebration of the Green Bay Packers and the community as countless people came to historic Titletown right outside the legendary Lambeau Field for the 2025 NFL Draft.

31 other teams were represented, but the Packers were the stars of the entire show, and they made their mark throughout the draft.

With the No. 23 overall pick, the Packers selected Matthew Golden, a wide receiver from the University of Texas-Austin, to be part of the Green and Gold, much to his and the crowd’s excitement. Golden is the first receiver the Packers have taken in the first round since 2002.

On Friday, the Packers held multiple picks, with their first choice coming in the second round at No. 54 overall. Former Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson announced the next member of the Green and Gold as North Carolina State lineman Anthony Belton.

A pair of Packers legends, Jerry Kramer and Dave Robinson, announced the Packers’ 3rd Round pick at No. 87 as Texas Christian University’s Savion Williams, a 6-foot-4 wide receiver.

The Packers fanbase was unquestionably the loudest, chanting their iconic ‘Go Pack Go’ every time they heard the name of the newest member of the Green and Gold.
