Green Bay man arrested as suspect in Capitol Drive stabbing, investigated as homicide

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – A 34-year-old Green Bay man has been arrested in connection to the deadly stabbing on Capitol Drive on Tuesday night.

According to the Green Bay Police Department, just before 1:45 p.m. on January 29, officers found the identified person of interest walking on West Mason Street and 12th Avenue and took him into custody for questioning.

After being questioned, the 34-year-old man was taken to the Brown County Jail. The investigation into Tuesday’s stabbing in the 1500 block of Capitol Drive is ongoing, officers say.

Once on the scene, a 60-year-old man was found unresponsive inside his Green Bay apartment. He was later pronounced dead.
