FOND DU LAC, Wis. (WFRV) – A man allegedly involved in a Fond du Lac deadly shooting back in 2023 has reportedly pled guilty to all charges.
According to Fond du Lac District Attorney Eric Toney, Antonio Johnston pled guilty to eight charges in a deadly shooting that happened back in May of 2023. Johnston was 17 years old at the time of the incident.
One person died from the incident, and others were injured. The incident happened at the Maplewood Commons in Fond du Lac.

Below is a breakdown of the eight charges:
- First Degree Intentional Homicide – Party to a Crime, Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Violent Crime in a School Zone
- Attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide – Party to a Crime, Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Violent Crime in a School Zone
- First Degree Reckless Injury – Party to a Crime, Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Violent Crime in a School Zone
- 4 counts of First Degree Recklessly Endangering Safety – Party to a crime, Use of a Dangerous Weapon, Violent Crime in a School Zone
- Injury by Negligent Use of a Dangerous Weapon – Party to a crime, Violent Crime in a School Zone
Toney said that Johnston took responsibility for his role in the shooting.
Today a defendant took responsibility for his role in a shooting at the Maplewood Commons on May 7, 2023, that took the life of a young woman, who was loved by her family and friends, injured others, and caused a significant impact on the community. We will never tolerate gun violence in our community, regardless of the age of a defendant.
