GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — In a Halloween tradition, more than 20 babies in the NICU at HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital in Green Bay brought smiles to families by donning their first Halloween costumes.
The NICU, which has provided critical care to over 10,000 newborns over the past 55 years, offers a compassionate touch during an often emotional time for families.

“We hope that by helping families dress up their infants for the holiday, we can bring them some joy,” said James Burke, NICU Manager at HSHS St. Vincent Children’s Hospital. The NICU team, composed of neonatologists, nurses, developmental therapists, and more, provides 24/7 care for preemies and infants facing complex health challenges.
As Green Bay’s first and largest NICU, HSHS St. Vincent remains dedicated to offering top-level care and a comforting presence to families during challenging moments.
