Oshkosh man arrested after allegedly threatening family with a gun on High Avenue

OSHKOSH, Wis. (WFRV) – A 48-year-old Oshkosh man was arrested following a domestic disturbance on High Avenue Sunday morning after he allegedly threatened family members with a gun.

According to the Oshkosh Police Department, officers responded to the 1100 block of High Avenue around 10 a.m. on January 26 for reports of a domestic disturbance.

Officers say a 48-year-old man had allegedly threatened some adult family members with a gun. High Avenue was shut down for roughly 30 minutes while officers investigated the incident.

The incident was safely stabilized without anyone getting hurt.

The 48-year-old man was arrested and taken to the Winnebago County Jail on two counts of Endangering Safety by Use of a Dangerous Weapon.
