BELOIT, Wis. (WFRV) – Officers with the Beloit Police Department have released the identity of the man killed during a late December shooting in southern Wisconsin.
According to an update on the Beloit PD’s Facebook, officers have identified the victim of the December 26 shooting on Oak Street as 32-year-old Gregory X. Ashford of Beloit.
However, the suspect, or suspects, remain at large as the Department continues its active investigation. The release notes that detectives are pursuing all leads and reviewing evidence to ensure that whoever is responsible is “brought to justice.”

The shooting also left a woman injured with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.
