TWIN LAKES, Wis. (WFRV) – The search for a 70-year-old man continues into the second day after three people on a UTV fell through the ice on Wisconsin’s Lake Elizabeth on Thursday afternoon.
According to the Twin Lakes Police Department, around 3:30 p.m. on January 30, authorities were made aware of a UTV that fell through the ice on Lake Elizabeth in Kenosha County.

Officers say that a 70-year-old man is unaccounted for and recovery efforts were paused around 8:45 p.m. Thursday after hours of searching. Search efforts have reportedly continued early Friday morning.
It was noted that two other people were also on the UTV but were able to make it out safely. They were evaluated at the scene and declined transport to the hospital.
Multiple local agencies, including the Wisconsin DNR and some from Illinois, are assisting with the search and recovery efforts.
