UPDATE: City of Green Bay says power is restored to all polling locations

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – After first announcing that power had been lost to a number of polling locations on the west side of Green Bay, city officials now say power has been restored to all polling locations.

The City first announced power outages to be affecting polling locations in a release at 9:25 a.m.

As of 9:44 a.m., the City stated in another release that the power to all the impacting polling locations has since been restored.

TUESDAY, APRIL 1, 2025 – 9:39 a.m.

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) – Power outages first reported Tuesday morning by the Green Bay Police Department to be affecting traffic lights are now said to be affecting polling locations.

According to a release from the City of Green Bay, officials have been made aware of power being lost at three polling locations on the city’s west side.

As of now, the impacted polling locations are as follows:

  • Perkins Park Shelter
  • St Paul’s United Methodist Church
  • St. Jude’s Catholic Church

Building on Main Street in Green Bay damaged following fire, no reported injuries

City officials say that voting will continue and all voters are encouraged to remain in line to cast their ballot.

The city has reportedly notified the proper authorities who will attempt to solve the issue. In the meantime, officials report that they are utilizing additional resources to ensure all voters can continue to have access to casting their ballot.
