Wisconsin man arrested nearly six months after arrest warrant was issued

KICKAPOO, Wis. (WFRV) – After nearly six months since an arrest warrant was issued, authorities in Wisconsin have finally taken a 45-year-old man into custody.

According to a release, on Saturday, Sept. 21, at around 2:00 p.m., a deputy stopped a vehicle on Sugar Grove Road, just south of U.S. Highway 14 in Kickapoo.

As a result of the traffic stop, 45-year-old Christopher Swadley of Soldiers Grove was taken into custody under an arrest warrant for failure to appear.

The arrest warrant stems from a December 2022 court filing for possession of a controlled substance, resisting or obstructing an officer, and possession of drug paraphernalia, all as a repeat offender.
