MONONA, Wis. (WFRV) – Authorities in Wisconsin arrested 63-year-old Michael A. Roach on Monday morning after he led police on a high-speed chase through Monona and Madison.

According to the Monona Police Department, officers were alerted by the Madison Police Department to a vehicle that had eluded officers on Madison’s south side. The vehicle was reportedly using registration plates from another car, often linked to vehicle theft.

With minimal traffic, officers continued the pursuit until deploying a tire deflation device, which flattened three of the suspect’s tires, leading the vehicle to a stop. Roach, reportedly impaired, surrendered without further incident.
