Wisconsin woman arrested for OWI, drug related offenses after traffic stop yields gun

PLEASANT PRAIRIE, Wis. (WFRV) – A 26-year-old woman from southeastern Wisconsin was arrested for OWI and other drug-related offenses after a traffic stop on Saturday.

According to the Pleasant Prairie Police Department, officers on the third shift pulled a driver over for not maintaining a lane.

As a result of the stop, a 26-year-old woman from Kenosha was arrested for Operating While Intoxicated (OWI), Going Armed While Intoxicated, and drug-related offenses.

“This serves as a reminder of the heightened danger when impaired driving is combined with carrying a weapon,” stated the Pleasant Prairie PD in a Facebook post.
